Atty. Bruce Rivera and VP Leni Robredo: CTTO

Well known Law expert and staunch defender of President Rodrigo Duterte went on social media slams his co-lawyer Vice President Leni Robredo anent to her judgement surrounding the recent proclamation of President Duterte withdrawing the Philippines' ratification of the Rome Statute, the treaty that established the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Atty. Bruce Rivera a prominent alumnus of San Beda College of Law, where President Duterte also attained his law degree hit out VP Robredo for her 'idiotic' understanding and statement in an interview with reporters in Camarines Sur.

Below is the VP standpoint on ICC withdrawal:

“Ano ba iyong implikasyon ng pag-alis natin, pag-withdraw?

The said statement made by VP Robredo who is also a lawyer triggered irk of Atty. Bruce and chides the Vice President as she's obviously did not understand what she said on the ICC issue.

"Epidemic ba ang katangahan at kaepalan sa Pilipinas. Madame VP, do you really understand what you are saying or mema lang."

Vice President Leni Robredo: CTTO

Vice President Leni Robredo: CTTO
"Your most important argument is your most idiotic. Safety net? Madame VP, we have the best safety net still in existence. Please Google it. It is called THE UNITED NATIONS. Yes, the one who can bomb dictators and terrorists just by a resolution. Why do we need a safety net that cannot even enforce an arrest warrant."

Law expert further lectures Robredo and scrutinize all of her opinions that are obviously against the move of President Duterte terminating our membership with ICC.

MY GOD!!!

Epidemic ba ang katangahan at kaepalan sa Pilipinas. Madame VP, do you really understand what you are saying or mema lang. Let me dissect:

International perception? Since when did you care when you were the first one who placed the country in disrepute with your antics in that UN speech where you dangled slanted numbers to fit your narrative. You aggravated it even more when you virtually robbed the homeless in Boston of their own garbage. In fact, there is NO foreign trip you made where you actually brought any business deal for the country since you scared investors instead of inviting them.

Committing to international agreements? Madame VP, that is a presidential prerogative. You will never be President, so dream on. Hindi ko alam kung anong tinuro sa inyo sa law school but we adhere to international agreements based on our own national interest. The US did not adhere to the Kyoto Protocol for the reduction of the CFC and you kept kissing their ass even if they are killing the world.

The mere fact that many countries withdrew from the ICC and major powers not signing it makes your remark bordering on reckless even clinical stupidity.

Relation to human rights? Madame, look at our existing laws. We have one of the most codified human rights laws in the world. The ICC should even learn from us about enacting human rights where it matters and not just be bullies to the black, the brown and the Muslims.

Vice President Leni Robredo: CTTO

Lastly, your most important argument is your most idiotic. Safety net? Madame VP, we have the best safety net still in existence. Please Google it. It is called THE UNITED NATIONS. Yes, the one who can bomb dictators and terrorists just by a resolution. Why do we need a safety net that cannot even enforce an arrest warrant.

Pareho kayo ng ICC...pareho kayong inutile.
