Winnie Monsod nagbabalak malaman ang Mental Health ng Pangulong Duterte

Naniniwala ang dating kalihim ng socioeconomic planning na si Winnie Monsod na ngayon na ang oras ng Philippine Medical Association (PMA) o iba pang mga grupo ng mga doktor upang suriin ang kalagayan ng mental health ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para makita kung siya ay angkop pa rin upang patakbuhin ang bansa.

Iminungkahi ito ni Monsod pagkatapos ng 27 na psychiatrists at eksperto sa mental health sa Estados Unidos ay naglathala ng isang libro na pinamagatang "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump," kung saan ang Pangulo ng Amerika ay nailalarawan bilang masama at mapang-abuso bukod sa iba pa.



Habang wala niisa sa mga eksperto ang personal na inexamine si Trump, inilathala ni Monsod sa kanyang column ng Oktubre 14 para sa Philippine Daily Inquirer na pinasigla sila upang mailabas ang aklat dahil sa "duty to warn" ang batas sa 33 na estado ng Estados Unidos.

“The book’s contributors are not wackos. They are at the top of their professions, and sincerely believe that Trump is a danger to their country,” sabi ni Monsod.

Ayon kay Monsod, katumbas ni Trump si Duterte, na mayroon nang umiiral na psychological evaluation na courtesy ni Dr. Natividad Dayan, dating pangulo ng International Council of Psychologists, bilang bahagi ng mga annulment proceedings.



“Dr. Dayan concluded that Mr. Duterte was suffering from ‘Antisocial Narcissistic Personality Disorder,’ a condition characterized by ‘gross indifference, insensitivity and self-centeredness,’ ‘grandiose sense of self-entitlement and manipulative behaviors,’ and ‘pervasive tendency to demean, humiliate others and violate their rights and feelings.’ Does that sound familiar?” tanong ni Monsod.

Bilang mga nasasakupan ni Duterte, sinabi ni Monsod na ang publiko ay may karapatang malaman tungkol sa estado ng kalusugan ng Pangulo.

Si Monsod ay curious kung ang pag-uugali ni Duterte ay tulad ng isang "spoiled brat" o isang bagay na “more sinister."

“I have made this suggestion before, but in the light of the new book on Trump, I make it again: Our Philippine Medical Association, or whatever psychological or psychiatric associations should get together, with or without Dr. Dayan’s presence, and assess the President’s behavior, based on her report and based on what they read about him,” dagdag pa ni Mosod.
