The Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) have started the manual recount and revision of ballots on the electoral protest filed by former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. against Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo.
On the first day of manual recount of votes in three provinces identified by Marcos in his vice presidential protest
they've already observed irregularities as wet and distorted ballots were found inside a ballot box and some ballot boxes had missing audit logs.
This said report has earned negative attention from the public and has also provided their opinions on the issue.

Senate Majority Leader Vicente “Tito” Sotto III took his social media account and expressed his anger on the controversy the surrounds on the missing early transmission logs of the 2016 polls.

Sen. Sotto was the one who previously exposed the alleged irregularities in the 2016 polls, citing early transmission of votes was among of the issues and has called for an investigation into the matter.
“These wet ballots issue is so alarming."
"2 years nang basa? Ayaw matuyo. Logs are not available? Are they hiding some things?” Sotto said
