Int'l political expert hit out Anti Duterte lawyer who questions President Duterte's withdrawal from ICC.

President Rodrigo Duterte | Atty. Antonio La Viña
"An idiotic Assertion! What a disgrace!"

International Relations Expert Jun Avelino slams Lawyer Antonio La Viña a former dean of the Ateneo School of Government who recently criticize the declaration of President Duterte withdrawing its ratification from International Criminal Court (ICC) and said Philippines will face a possible long-term problem on its proclamation withdrawing from ICC "Perils extend beyond whether or not any sitting president will be charged of crimes before it."

The said statement of Atty. La Viña earned the attention of a prominent Int'l political expert - well-known staunch supporter of President Duterte and started to lecture the lawyer of his prowess and shared his detailed insights surrounding recent proclamation of Pres. Dutetre.

"I almost puked reading such an idiotic assertion why Philippines should remain as state party to the Rome Statute which created the ICC. And knowing that it comes from a Law expert of a reputable academic institution, I can only say – what a disgrace!" said Int'l political expert Jun Avelino.

An idiotic Assertion

I almost puked reading such an idiotic assertion why Philippines should remain as state party to the Rome Statute which created the ICC. And knowing that it comes from a Law expert of a reputable academic institution, I can only say – what a disgrace!

But just to tickle his balls a bit.

He claims that the long term effect of becoming a non-member of Rome Statute is the country’s lack of recourse to ICC to protect OFWs like me in case we are placed in war situations. Is he suggesting that under such peculiar and imagined circumstance, as a member thereof, Philippines can go to ICC, get a TRO to stop OFWs from being annihilated in a foreign land? Hahahahaha….Now, that is really one funny and absurd argument if not outright stupid. If this is the only reason the anti Dutertards experts like Mr. La Vina can squeeze out of his yellow brain, then it only shows that Duterte is damn right in his decision to withdraw from a UN body which is not only utterly useless but which has become an instrument of bullying of member states who refused to be subservient to Europe and UN influence peddlers to serve certain political interests.

When Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 which is part of Ukraine which resulted to loss of thousands of Ukrainian lives, was ICC useful under such aggression? It was a fucking territorial invasion taking place before the eyes of the world which snapped human lives. Both the UN and ICC closed their eyes amidst such crime against humanity.

When US and its NATO allies from European countries ripped off Iraq and massacred the Iraqis in the guise of destroying Saddam’s Weapon of Mass destruction which was later on proven to be non-existent, did UN and ICC lift their fingers to punish the butchers like George Bush, et als, for committing such genocidal act? Of course, their balls shrunk in fear like those of the yellows!

And you should be reminded that there is a continuing massacre of the Syrian people with US and its European allies and Russia on the other side alternately bombing civilian people depending on their domestic political allegiance in the guise of fighting the ISIS.

Has ICC or even UN for that matter held to account President Assad, Obama and Putin for the inferno they have created over the land of Syria?

But then you will come to me and say, these countries are not state parties to the Rome Statute and therefore, their heads of states are beyond the reach of ICC. Fuck off! Why don’t you read the Sudan case and slap your idiotic face with the fact that its President, Omar Al Bashir, has been issued with warrant of arrest by ICC for crimes against humanity and genocide notwithstanding the fact that Sudan is not a state party to Rome Statute?.

With or without membership with the Rome Statute, ICC can still run after any country or a country can still go there for help through UN protocols, depending on your alliances with the members of the UN Security Council, like China. But the good thing of becoming a non member thereof is the fact that Philippines can no longer be bullied by the ICC and those demonic arms behind its existence. And this is the message Digong is trying to convey to the world which you and your minions stubbornly refused to see out of sheer stupidity – Sanamagan!

Please stop fooling the Filipino people by spreading concocted malicious lies to win them to your side. It just doesn’t work. And the more you put slant on the government's foreign policy direction and try to deceive the people, the more you expose your desperation for their support and bare to them the idiocy of your cause. - JA
