“I actually had an opportunity to have a conversation with President Duterte just before our meeting earlier this morning, in which I emphasized, of course, the people-to-people ties between Canada and the Philippines and the great connections there.

But I also mentioned human rights, rule of law, specifically extrajudicial killings, as an issue that Canada is concerned with.”

Gayunpaman, sinabi ni Robles kay Trudeau "only wanted to divert attention from the 50 containers of Canadian garbage that his country sent here back in 2013."

Idinagdag pa ni Robles na,

“A man may look like a movie star, smile a lot, pick up babies, join you in selfies and go for chicken at Jollibee. But he could also be a lying, good-for-nothing politician at the same time.”

“THE REAL TRUDEAU: The thing about Justin Trudeau is that he is a consummate political showman, with a master's degree in diversionary tactics.

So when Trudeau said he "impressed" on Duterte the need to look into alleged human rights violations, he only wanted to divert attention from the 50 containers of Canadian garbage that his country sent here back in 2013.

Trudeau promised two years ago in Manila that he would look into the matter of Canadian garbage sent to the Philippines. Up to now, 2017, he still can't say that he already has a real solution to the problem.

A man may look like a movie star, smile a lot, pick up babies, join you in selfies and go for chicken at Jollibee. But he could also be a lying, good-for-nothing politician at the same time.”

“We also discussed the garbage issue which has been a long-standing irritant and I committed to him as I am happy to commit to you all now that Canada is very much engaged in finding a solution on that.

Canadian legal regulations prevented us from being able to receive the waste back to Canada. We had legal barriers and restrictions that prevented us from taking it back, but that's done now.”
