Foreign national: 'Parojinogs have been living as narco royalty for a long time'

Foreign national reacts on the killing in Ozamis City
A foreign national, Nigel Locke, posted on his Facebook account about his reaction on the killing of a Mayor in Ozamiz City.

"For those outside the Philippines, you might be reading NYT reports of a mayor accused of drug trafficking being killed in a raid," he stated.

Mr. Locke explained that there were multiple raids happened at Parajinog's residence that resulted to a 2-hour gun battle, arrests and drug seizures, drug use, millions of cash, and firearms including The 3 RPGs and an  M79 grenade launcher.

He concluded that the family of Parojinog lived a narco royalty life for a long span of time. NIgel said that many can justify that this is true, but others are just zipping their mouths because of fear.

Almost 40 barangay captains had already voluntarily surrendered to the police, he added.

He finally finished his post of this “Of course the Liberal Party who cosseted the drug dealers have complained including the Commission for human rights, whose leader was the Liberal party campaign manager.  Hardly an unbiased entity”

To set the record straight, there were several raids, resulting in a 2 hour gun battle, arrests and the seizure of drugs, drug paraphernalia, millions in cash, and weapons including 3 RPGS and and an M79 grenade launcher. Not your normal choice for home defense.

The family have been living as narco royalty for a long time. Some are speaking out, some are still afraid of them.

Since the raid 40 barangay captains (mini mayors kind of) have voluntarily surrendered to the Police.

Of course the Liberal Party who cosseted the drug dealers have complained including the Commission for human rights, whose leader was the Liberal part campaign manager. Hardly an unbiased entity.
