The Hague's criminal law expert says acts of Trillanes and Alejano are no longer legal

Atty. Paula Defensor-Knack says acts of Trillanes and Alejano are no longer legal
Paula Defensor Knack, an international law expert based in The Hague Netherlands, said that the acts of Sen. Antonio Trillanes and Rep. Gary Alejano are no longer legal.

Knack also said that if her late sister Miriam Santiago was alive, she would have placed Trillanes and Alejano behind bars. She stated in her Facebook post that no government is powerful in its territory. No one should take the powers of the head of state lightly.

She posted a photo where the text cites that “the two cannot be judged in isolation from their and the yellow’s multiple, continuous, systematic and insolent attempts to oust a sitting of head of state, especially during the terrorist attack.”

She also shared a photo from netizen Sentiche Garcia Remotin, stating that Trillanes urges his cohorts to continue spreading plights in the Philippines, while he was working to oust the President. See the photo below.

Kidding aside, Knack said that it‘s not only Pres. Duterte who’ll be affected but the whole country. She said that the OFWs were bothered for their actions because they fear that they might get deported from the country they were employed into.

Knack also asked if the two has a clean background. She further suggested to review Trillanes’ amnesty.
