Cruz-Angeles said that she had two degrees from the University and that the reason behind her appeal was Aquino's involvement with the catastrophic death rate during typhoon Yolanda caused by his negligence and incompetence.
She also stated that Aquino ordered the senseless deaths of 44 Special Armed Forces men which he watched "live".
Cruz-Angeles added that Aquino mishandled the Al Barka massacre of Armed Forces of the Philippines troops.
She said he also was behind the criminal response to starving farmers in Kidapawan and those that sought justice in Hacienda Luisita.
All of which she said, showed a lack of respect for human life and dignity from his part.
"Revoke Aquino's honoris causa degree. Relegate him to the dustbin of history and strip him of this undeserved recognition," the lawyer said.

I am Trixie Angeles, I am an alumnus with two degrees from the University of the Philippines. I am also currently an MA student. I am for the revocation of the honorary degree conferred on Benigno Simeon Aquino.
