He criticized the Lopezes of ABS-CBN and the Prietos of Inquirer.
"Pag sinabi mo, put*ng ina ka, mukha kang pera Gabby Lopez ka. Ikaw Prieto put*ng ina nabubuhay kayo sa influence peddling,” said Duterte.
Duterte insisted that there was an attempt to derail his presidential campaign by ABS-CBN when it ran an anti-Duterte political campaign ad bankrolled by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and refused his own TV ad and he hit Inquirer when it headlined Trillanes’ expose on his alleged ill gotten wealth stashed in undisclosed bank accounts at the Ortigas branch of Bank of the Philippine Islands.
He also pointed out that both medias give unfair coverage on his war against drugs.
To combat these, he attacked the people behind the organizations.
“Kung mag-editorial, mga editorial ninyo criticizing corruption, wrongdoing or anomalies and yet kayo, ito sabi ko, ito ‘yung mga oligarch… Hindi talaga ako papayag na babuyin ninyo ang Pilipinas,” said Duterte.
