The European Union said that they will withdraw previous agreements if the war against drugs is not stopped. The international body also requested for the release of incarcerated Senator Leila de Lima.
"Kailan pa nagkaroon ng kapangyarihan ang isang dayuhang basura pumigil sa kagustuhang makipag-kalakal ng mga economic partners natin dito sa Pilipinas? ANG TANGA!" said Faith Cabanilla in her Facebook page.
"Did they honestly think foreign investors would stop their businesses and investments in a country that is proving to be a fast-growing economy in Asia and is now becoming safer and more secure due to the anti-drugs and anti-corruption campaigns under the Duterte government?" she added.
She said all good investors know the risks of their dealings and the risks that go with it.
She said she doubts if these businesses will base their decisions on "a war-mongering, lie-proliferating publication that has contributed much to the violence we are experiencing now in unstable (destabilized) countries."
Cabanilla asked the agency who they think they were to raise such statements.
She called Philippine Daily Inquirer as "colored basura" and the NYT as "foreign basura".

All great business people and successful investors know how to calculate risks. I also doubt they'll based their decisions on a war-mongering, lie-proliferating publication that has contributed much to the violence we are experiencing now in unstable (destabilized) countries.
